Hey, I'm Sarah, your new permanent jewellery artist. Fully trained and insured of course!

I'm a cosmetic tattooist (semi permanent make up) based in Leeds since 2017. You'll find me at The Foundry (tattoo studio), based in Farsley, Leeds, West Yorkshire.

If you're like me, you find it difficult to get jewellery that fits you perfectly. With my other line of work, I can't have excess chain hanging down my wrist, getting in the way of my work and hygiene practices. Necklaces are always too long, with the clasp getting tangled in my hair overnight. Or maybe you find that some chains are too tight and uncomfortable. Permanent jewellery is the perfect solution for this, as it's custom made to fit your body and how you want it to sit. It's a commitment you can keep with no effort involved.

I chose to add permanent jewellery to my services as I'm always looking for creative outlets to make my work life even more enjoyable. I loveee jewellery, especially statement rings, but as I said, it's hard for me to wear a lot of jewellery that doesn't interfere with my job. So here's where I decided to pair my experience with detailed, precise work and attention to detail, to another permanent service that I can bring my own style and personality to.

As well as doing my permanent jewellery training, I've also begun a silversmithing course, which will hopefully allow me to create my OWN charms that you won't be able to find anywhere else… so watch this space!

If you've never been to a tattoo studio before, don't worry! The Foundry is a relaxed & friendly environment. I work with a wide range of clients of different ages and backgrouds, some of whom had never stepped foot in a tattoo studio before. I always hear comments on how unique the studio is, and how chilled they've been during their visit. Come see for yourself!
