Things you might want to ask

  • Not at all! A micro-welder is used for precision, and a protective patch is applied between the chain and your skin to protect the area.

  • Yes! Just make sure to rinse off in the shower afterwards. Chlorinated water could leave trace chemicals on your jewellery, so gently wipe down the chain with a clean cloth or towel after showering.

Sterling silver will tarnish more easily than gold, especially when exposed to chlorine or other chemically treated water. Make sure to wash / clean your jewellery after contact with any chemicals, lotions and perfumes. Check out the aftercare page for more info.

  • As with any jewellery, especially if worn every day, sweat and products such as moisturiser / fake tan / hairspray / hand soap could get built up making your jewellery look dull. Regulary clean your jewellery, as you would any other piece of jewellery, to keep it looking brand new and sparkly. Check out the aftercare page for more details on how to care for your permanent jewellery.

  • Anyone who is required to remove jewellery for work / activities, as unless you cut it off or get it removed, it’s welded on securely.

Anyone with a pacemaker is unable to have permanent jewellery due to the welding process.

People with an allergy to sterling silver or gold - whilst allergies to these metals are rare, it may not be suitable if you’re particularly sensitive.

  • Because the chain and configuration of your jewellery and charms is custom made to suit and fit you, you cannot return, exchange or get a refund.

You can always add extra charms and have other charms removed if you want to change up the design. Keep any charms you have removed safe - these could always be swapped out again in the future.

  • You should always treat any jewellery with care. The permanent element refers to the welding / no clasp style, but it doesn’t mean that your jewellery is indestructable.

In the unlikely event that your chain does break, please keep it safe so it can be put back on for you.

If the break is due to a weakend weld, this can be repaired free of charge if within the first 6 weeks.

If you snap the chain accidentally, such as getting it stuck on something, repairs may be able to be made, but there may be costs involved.

If you need to break the chain for any reason, please do so carefully and store your jewellery safely, so that you can have it put back on at a later date with minimal repairs being needed.

If you’ve lost your chain because it was broken, you will need to purchase a new chain.
