✦ Quick and easy application - pick what you want to suit your budget and have your jewellery made and fitted there and then.
✦ Can be totally customised with additions such as connectors & charms to reflect your personality and individuality.
✦ Sized to fit you - no more excess chain hanging down - have jewellery made to fit and stay where you want it to stay!
✦ Clasp free - perfect for customers who are vision-impaired or less dextrous, taking away the annoying fiddling about and frustration a clasp can cause.
✦ Safe, high quality & durable precious metals are used to prevent rusting and skin staining.
✦ Sentimental - make a memory to remember, with a friend, partner or family member of creating a custom, symbolic piece of jewellery that will last your lifetimes and link you together forever.
Cons
✤ Depending on how you look at it, the biggest benefit of permanent jewellery can also be a downside: you can’t take it off easily.
✤ Some people worry about committing to a piece of jewellery full time. You can always have your piece removed or convert your jewellery to a traditional clasp further down the line.
✤ As with any jewellery, every day wear and tear CAN still happen. Strenuous activities can mean it could be damaged more easily or quickly as it can’t be removed prior. But don’t worry… accidents happen and breakages or damages can be repaired! (costs may apply)
✤ Permanent applies to the application of welding your piece on. It doesn’t mean it’s unbreakable.
Removal
The only time your jewellery needs to be removed is if required/requested for a medical procedure. Silver and gold are not magnetic so would not impact an MRI scan, but medical professionals may ask you to remove your jewellery prior to an MRI or surgery. Depending on the chain, you may be able to do this at home by carefully cutting the chain or connector using sharp scissors. The jewellery will also be fine for airport security - it will not set off metal detectors, so passing through the scanners won’t be an issue. If you do need to remove your permanent jewellery for any reason, it can be re-welded when the time is right. You can also opt for a clasp to be added if you decide you need more flexibility with your jewellery.
